It takes approximately 150 volunteers to make Midnight Mayhem possible! If you are looking to fulfill service hour requirements for a company or organization or if you just want to come help out and see what this awesome event is about, we can use your help and support!
All competing vehicles are required to go through an on site technical inspection for safety. Information regarding technical inspection can be found here.

Midnight Mayhem has a 100 car limit just like Baja SAE events and yes, we will hit 100 cars! In order to allow as many teams to compete at Midnight Mayhem as possible, we have a unique capping system to ensure this.
Every vehicle racing at Midnight Mayhem is required to utilize a transponder, or their laps will not be counted. Compatible transponders for Midnight Mayhem's lap counting and Midnight Mayhem Mobile are AMB MX transponders. Michigan Technological University will be renting out additional transponders if you need them for your cars. Click here to learn about the rental process.
